Grant Funding

Robin Turney has had particular success in obtaining significant grant funding over recent years through the England Rural Development Programme and the EU Fruit and Vegetable regime. He helped clients in East Anglia, the Midlands and the South East obtain grant funding for a range of projects including;

  • Top and soft fruit packing and processing equipment
  • Top and soft fruit packhouse
  • Salad and vegetable processing and packing operation
  • Farm shop and butchery
Farm business advisory service
  • Conversion of traditional buildings to light industrial units and offices
  • Holiday accommodation
  • Irrigation reservoirs and irrigation equipment
  • Fruit and vegetable box schemes
  • Training projects for farm supervisors and management staff

We are well placed to advise on all stages of business development from the initial discussion of ideas and planning, through to preparation of grant applications, project management and implementation of schemes that maximise the assets of the business.

Our comprehensive service includes the production of business plans, feasibility studies, impact assessments and collation of responses to public consultation, as well as independent agricultural appraisals of business ventures to accompany applications for grant funding.

Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE)

Grant funding for rural projects is now administered nationally under the RDPE by the nine Rural Development Agencies (RDAs) specific to the regions we operate in. We have considerable experience of working with key personnel responsible for administering the funding schemes and are well placed to advise clients on funding availability, assist with Expression of Interest forms, advise on local RDA criteria for targeted funding and ultimately prepare grant applications and business plans.
